REEFER™ systems have just gotten even larger. The REEFER triple X 900 (3XL 900), together with a new and improved configuration for the REEFER XXL 750 V3 systems, take reefkeeping to another dimension.
With a net operating volume of 900 liter / 240 gal, the new REEFER 3XL 900 is an impressive reef system that provides unsurpassed depth and dimension to the reefscaping. 200cm / 79” long, and 65cm / 25.6” high and wide, the REEFER 3XL 900 gives hobbyists the freedom to create a truly spectacular reef.
Both the 3XL 900 and revised XXL 750 V3 are constructed using 19mm ultra-clear glass and sit on heavy-duty plywood cabinets with aluminum supports to ensure the longevity of the system.
To complement the 3XL 900, 4 units of Red Sea’s ReefLED 90 lighting units will provide ideal lighting for a full SPS system while the REEFER 900 skimmer will maintain perfect water quality.
Maintaining the familiar rimless format and clean lines of the REEFER series, the 3XL 900 introduces an enlarged overflow box with dual side-facing return pump outlets and increased surface skimming that provides ideal water circulation in the tanks with flows of up to 10,000 lph / 2600 gph. The new dual return system and the enlarged overflow developed for the 3XL 900 have also been implemented on the XXL 750 V3, giving it a new look and significantly improved flow dynamics and surface skimming. Both systems come complete with fittings to attach either single or dual return pumps.
A unique feature of the 3XL 900 is a split sump system that provides unmatched flexibility. The main sump is set for the main filtration functions with an optional refugium chamber and a dedicated adjustable height skimmer chamber. The sump extension can be connected to the main sump and used for additional filtration, as a larger refugium or even as a dedicated frag tank. Alternatively, it can be set up as an independent unit and used as a full-size RO reservoir or saltwater reservoir for automated water changes.
The REEFER models are 50cm (20″) wide and are available in 60cm (24″) long/170 liter (34gal) capacity, 90cm (36″) long/250 liter (65 gal) capacity or 120cm (47″) long/350 liter (91 gal). These tanks sit on HPL coated MDF Marine Spec cabinets.
The REEFER XL includes four models that give you the freedom to create more expansive, intricate, and diverse reefscapes without the constraints of the smaller tanks. All four XL models are 57.5cm (22.6″) wide and 55 cm (22″) high (excluding XL 200, which is 53 cm/21″ high). They differ in length and are available in 4 sizes from 60cm (24″) long/200 liter (53 gal) capacity up to 150cm (59″) long/525 liter (140 gal). All the REEFER XL models now feature a laminated, plywood marine-spec cabinet for greater water resistance with adjustable feet for perfect leveling on any surface.
The REEFER XXL includes two models that enhance your freedom to create a truly spectacular reef.
Both models are 60cm (23.6″) high & 65cm (25.6″) wide and are available in 150cm (59″) long/625 liter (166 gal) capacity or 180cm (71″) long/750 liter (200 gal). The XXL750 V3 now includes a dual pump return to allow for better-distributed flow in the aquarium. All the REEFER XXL models now feature a laminated, plywood marine-spec cabinet for greater water resistance with adjustable feet for perfect leveling on any surface.

This unit introduces an enlarged overflow box with dual side-facing return pump outlets that provides ideal water circulation in the tanks with flows of up to 10,000 lph/2600gph.
