Manten is a dense stone from high elevations in a remote region of Japan. The form and color can vary, making it an interesting aquascaping choice.
Instructions: Please include notes with your order to let us know the approximate size or quantity of stones you want. We'll do our best to accommodate and contact you if there's any issues.
Cherry Picking Service ($25): We'll send you up to 5 photos (including a size reference) for you to select the exact pieces you want. Simply complete checkout with "Cherry Picking" added to your cart, and then we'll send you a separate invoice for the weight of your stones after you select them.
United StatesManten has great texture that looks great in different styles of aquascape e.g. iwagumi, nature, etc. I used these stones to accent a blackwater setup. In the past, I'd been the their store to pick out larger stones for focal pieces in an iwagumi hardscape in the past and it turned out great, but for accent pieces and rubble, it's not as important to hand-pick.
I totally recommend the Manten Stone from ALA! Super happy with the color and shape of the stones I received, the white veins in the stone really pop. I went with the cherry picking option and the service I received from the guys at ALA was second to none. Thank you!
I would highly reccomend going to the store and picking out your own stone. It's always a gamble getting the higher quality stones.
