Sometimes, an oily residue can accumulate at the surface of the water creating an unsightly film. This canister filter intake pipe (30.5 cm in length) will help to collect the floating oils and debris, bringing clarity to the surface of your aquarium. This product also includes suction cups for ease of installation.
The skimmer works great! They don’t tell you information in the box that the floating skimmer portion needs some of the air removed to float properly. Also beware if you have really small fish. I had 2 panda loaches and an espei Rasbora get sucked in where the floating porting connects to he rest of the skimmer. Other than that it was a great product!
