United StatesFor a set of aquatic tools, ALA's kit is remarkably weak to water. Indeed, within the span of a month of semi-constant use, the sand flattener and scissors have begun rusting, leaving them nearly unusable. Having owned multiple sets of aquascaping tools before, I have never seen such degradation in quality in such a short period of time, leaving me to seriously question the build quality of these tools. For their price, I simply cannot recommend that other people purchase this tool kit, as you can find much better quality kits for cheaper elsewhere.
Hey Darius, Thank you for the honest feedback. We apologize that you were unhappy with the tools. Please remember that all stainless steel tools are going to be prone to corrosion, particularly when exposed to saltwater. For the longest life, make sure to rinse your tools in filtered water, dry them off before storage, and an occasional dab of vegetable oil on the hinge and body will help prevent corrosion and rusting.
