Carbon pre-filter foams – Activated carbon absorbs unwanted substances in aquarium water. Carbon filter foams make replacement much simpler than using common granular carbon.

Best Canister Filter I've Used

LOVE the prefilter. I clean it easily with every water change. Keeps the filter media cleaner, longer. Great flow. Very solid build. Quiet.

Best filters out there by far!

LOVE this new tase biomaster thermo 850. The pre filter is a major game changer in terms of maintenance. And the heater is the first I've ever used that is spot on accurate right out of the box (in a 75 gal freshwater planted tank). I was able to put 9 lbs of BioHome Ultimate media inside this beast. It's awesome.
