I purchased the "nano 6-8" for my little 5gallon... i could've definitely went a a bit bigger, but I'm still very satisfied with the selected piece. I boiled on low for about an hour and it sunk. Minimal tannins, will be purchasing more soon, highly recommend!
I purchased some spider wood for my planted aquarium. It took a couple weeks for the piece of wood to sink. I had to leave a big rock on it to keep it submerged. And then the wood started growing a white slime and hair on it. After about a month it os starting to disappear. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.
