Specifications:
My rating of 4 stars is mostly due because of incorrect information I was given... First the stand I received is not the black gloss advertised, and I can understand that the MFG change it, but they should had noticed. Second; the pre-drilled holes on the tank, I was told first it was for 1.25" and 3/4" bulkheads, then on a separate email, I was told 1.5" and 3/4", well I ordered 1.5" and 3/4" and the 1.5" bulkhead does not fit, so I had to return and re-order thr 1.25" and it is a bit small for the hole, I hope it seals correctly, but seems it is not a standard size hole. Other than that, it is a nice Tank, i dont know if it is truly a "Low Iron glass" as everyone that has seen it , tells me that is nit due to the green tint on the edges of the glass, thay tell me low iron should not have green... I dont know for sure , but never the less, it is a nice tank, seems well built and the stand I got , even as it was not the gloss type, it is nice. My wife seems to like it better that if it was gloss, as she has seen the pictures of the gloss stand and prefer the one we got, btw the one I received it has a satin finish and wood grain design in black. If anyone from AquaJapan sees this, it would be nice to either include the bulkheads or use a standard size and drill for 2x 1" bulkheads instead of the odd sizes, as it will allowed more flexibility to the user as a bigger return/drain or dual drain set-up. One more issue I seen so far (my system is not ready yet) the holes on the tank dont align with the hole on the sump, so the main drain has to be slightly moved to the front looks like using 2 45* elbows as a straight drain wouldn't work. Would I recommend this setup, absolutely! And the guys at Aqua Lab Aquaria are great, the issues are mostly from the MFG of the system.
