A selection of 6 plants that tolerate low light conditions and don’t require CO2. These are popular aquascaping plants, curated as a group to fill different areas of the aquarium.
This kit should be good for aquariums up to about 20 gallons. For larger aquariums, we recommend additional kits (1 for every ~20 gallons).
For each genus, we may have several species or variations (i.e. Cryptocoryne wendtii ‘Broad Leaf’ and Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Tropica') from various suppliers, and while you may include notes with your order to indicate your preferences (we will try!) we cannot guarantee special requests.
Tissue culture plants should be removed from the cup as soon as possible. All plants grow on some sort of synthetic growing medium, ranging anywhere from liquid to jelly to firm gel. This should be removed and rinsed off. Gently massage the roots between your fingers until the gel dissolves away. Most plants can be broken up into smaller pieces and spread out in your aquarium. Smaller pieces are easier to plant.
