RED X is effective against:
- Green and red cyanobacteria
- Mild dinoflagellate infestation (Ostreopsis sp., Amphidinium sp., Prorocentrum sp., Coolia sp., Symbiodinium, and others)
- Gold algae and armor algae growth, Diatoms
