Vesicularia ferriei 'Weeping', commonly known as Weeping Moss, is believed to originate from China and has been distributed by Oriental Aquarium Plants. 'Weeping' is a fleshy, 1-3 cm tall hanging moss with teardrop-like bright green shoots. It is best attached to driftwood or roots, as its drooping growth pattern helps to create depth and contrast in the aquarium. 'Weeping' has low demands, is fast growing and should be pruned frequently with scissors to maintain an attractive shape.

Tissue culture plants should be removed from the cup as soon as possible. All plants grow on some sort of synthetic growing medium, ranging anywhere from liquid to jelly to firm gel. This should be removed and rinsed off. Gently massage the roots between your fingers until the gel dissolves away. Most plants can be broken up into smaller pieces and spread out in your aquarium. Smaller pieces are easier to plant.
Nice specimen arrived quickly. Planted on a bonsai tree and is beginning to show growth. Begin to pearl immediately after putting in tank. No CO2 with medium light. Very happy with purchase.
Honestly you can’t go wrong with this. I added this moss to a bonsai tree in my aquarium and in few weeks it took off. I tried other moss from other sites but it all turned brown or didn’t grow. This moss has been healthy and beautiful since the beginning with little to no effort. I haven’t even seen any dying off. At this point I’m having to trim off the excess every so often. As the title says, it’s a great buy.
